Do you know if he is trying to have this resolved? I heard that his CBRMT offering had some different, more complete versions than have been previously offered so I am quite interested in hearing them.

No word on resolution.

He theorizes that posting the location in places like this could have alerted the company to delete because of its copyright status.

I hope that posters like tim d will exercise more discretion in these matters in the future.

I understand. Is it possible for him to place these elsewhere? I am only looking for 1974-1976. Again I know many of these are available elsewhere but I was told that Tim D's were the best around quality and quantity wise.

I don't know if he will re-post. I'm not going to bug him about it since it was such an enormous task for him to do it to begin with.

To clear things up, my understanding is that tim d and the folder owner are 2 different people.

Thank you for clearing that up. I apologize if I appear "greedy".

You're welcome. And you appeared "just as anxious as I was to enjoy the shows", not "greedy".

It's not at all clear if the above public post of this link caused the deletion of the files.

Just in case it did, I figure it is worth exercising more discretion in the future since it appears he lost not just these files, but all files in his entire account.

That's terrible!. I was able to download seven of the shows. If he lost them, I can upload them back to an account of his choosing. It's the least I can do. Maybe all of us who were able to download a portion of his files can upload them back to Tim?

Keep in mind, Scooper, these files were not Tim's, so Tim is not in need here. Neither is the actual folder owner, luckily, since I'm told he does have them elsewehere.

Thanks for that information. As one who lost more than half his collection due to flooding in '06, it's good to know someone else's possessions are safe. Perhaps the "owner" will offer these programs again at another time or place.

Not that it really matters much anymore, but I meant a real flood! Six feet of water due to a very nearby river overflowing. Tapes, video and audio; comics, books, magazines, pulps, all lost. Since then I have learned my lesson at least with my OTR CDs and what is still on tape six feet off the ground or higher. Fortunately I had divided my collection into two places so half the collection was completely spared.
